Educational program
The purpose of the EP is to training of qualified scientific personnel with a high level of professional competencies, values and leadership qualities to carry out research, teaching, expert advisory, administrative, managerial, cultural and educational activities, successfully implementing scientific projects in the field of history and demography, complex laboratory research , using modern methodology, digital technologies and international collaborations.
LO 1. Conduct analytical research of current problems in the field of humanities, using interdisciplinary, historiographical methods, interpreting scientific theories and concepts from the perspective of modern science, conducting bibliographic and source analysis for the formulation and solution of scientific problems and the development of institutional memory.
LO 2. Justify recommendations which have made during the implementation of applied research in the field of historical sciences, based on the use of modern methodological tools, innovative methods of processing in general, and in demography field – the results of the population census, statistical materials, etc.
LO 3. Develop theoretical and methodological foundations of historical, historiographical, source studies, historical and demographic research based on the use of digital technologies, evaluating patterns, scientific approaches, methods, principles as a result of fundamental research.
LO 4 Develop medium-term and long-term strategies and programs of scientific research in the subject area of history, historiography, source studies and historical demography, based on innovative, project management for effective management of scientific organizations.
RO 5. To make expert opinions on historical, historical-demographic, directions in the field of humanities by using innovative approaches, the method of synergetics, the principles of historicism, objectivity in preserving the cultural and historical identity of institutional memory.
LO 6. Analyze the statistical data of upcoming National Population Census of 2021 results in terms of population, natural development, migration processes, using the method of content analysis, BigData processing technologies, etc.
LO 7 Evaluate, classify and interpreting the representativeness of various types and types of historical sources in the field of modern demographic trends and their practical application in national research.
LO 8 Develop scientific Start-up (startups) for research in demographic areas of the humanities, taking into account the current problems of Kazakh society and national interests in world and national history on the basis of technological optimism as an auxiliary tool for adjustment and adaptation.
LO 9 Demonstration scientific publications in a foreign language with a high citation index on current problems of the humanities in the field of innovative history and demography.
ON 10 Exam scientific results within the framework of research projects and programs on the problems of national cultures, historical innovative demography in the globalization process on the basis of modern scientific methods.
LO 11. Conduct training sessions in universities in the humanities (in a traditional and distance format) using digital educational resources, problem-oriented, personality-oriented project-innovative learning technologies.
LO 12 Develop methodological support in the humanities, control and measuring tools, textbooks, teaching tutorials, methodological manuals by using digital innovative technologies. Work in a team, have the skills of self-analysis, self-regulation, leadership.
Educational programs of doctoral studies
Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:
when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:
1) an application addressed to the head of the organization of higher and postgraduate education (in any form);
2) a document on education (original, when submitting documents to the selection committee);
3) identity document (required for personal identification);
4) official certificate of passing the state language exam (KAZTEST) issu
