Autumn Fair at KazNU: Tradition, Unity, and the Taste of the Land
On October 23, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held its traditional Autumn Fair, dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 35th anniversary of the Declaration of State Sovereignty.
The event brought together students, professors, and guests of the university, turning the campus into a vibrant celebration of tradition and unity.
Festive Spirit and the Colors of Autumn
From early morning, the university courtyard was filled with colorful stalls displaying natural produce grown at the KazNU Agrobiostation.
Fresh vegetables and fruits — potatoes, carrots, cabbage, pumpkins, tomatoes, bell peppers, eggplants, and apples — were offered for sale, totaling more than 500 kilograms of eco-friendly products.
Music, traditional treats, and friendly smiles created a warm, festive atmosphere as guests enjoyed the day and took photos at faculty-decorated stands.
Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev emphasized:
“The fair is a good tradition that reflects the diligence, unity, and sustainable development of the university. KazNU strives to nurture not only intellect but also social responsibility in young people.”
Meaning and Legacy
The autumn fair is more than just an exhibition — it’s a celebration of solidarity and shared values.
Students took an active role in organizing the event, interacting with visitors and presenting the agrobiostation’s achievements.
This tradition once again demonstrated KazNU’s dedication to environmental awareness, sustainable growth, and the preservation of national culture.
The 2025 Autumn Fair at KazNU showed that the university values hard work, unity, and the continuity of generations — combining tradition with innovation and care for the community.
