    As part of the "Quality Education" section of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an exhibition of Iranian culture was organized during the "Open Day"
27 february, 2025. On February 26, the Faculty of Oriental Studies hosted an "Open Day" aimed at providing career guidance for students of general education schools and colleges in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Iranian Studies Department of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia actively participated in this event.
Mr. Hossein Aghazadeh, head of the Cultural Representation at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty, specially attended the event and delivered a speech to the students. He also presented letters of appreciation to the Dean of the Faculty, N.B. Yem, the Head of the Department of the Middle East and        South Asia, D.M. Kokeeva, and the faculty members of the Iranian Studies Department.
The Iranian Cultural Representation organized an exhibition of Iranian culture for school students and held a quiz about Iran, where students who answered correctly received books as prizes.
    Additionally, as part of the event, in the "Evening of Eastern Melodies" segment, first-year student Rakhad Adilov performed a song in Persian accompanied by a bayan.
