Цель: The purpose of the master's program is high-quality training of masters who have broad fundamental and practical knowledge in the field of chemical materials science, have the skills to solve production problems, and are also capable of managerial activities in the field of science and education.. The program is aimed at creating a specialist who can: - improve methods of analysis and diagnostics of chemical materials; - evaluate and purposefully change the physical and chemical characteristics of chemical materials; - engage in teaching activities with the introduction of advanced modern educational technologies; - develop technologies for obtaining new materials with specified properties.

Educational program
The purpose of the master's program is high-quality training of masters who have broad fundamental and practical knowledge in the field of chemical materials science, have the skills to solve production problems, and are also capable of managerial activities in the field of science and education.. The program is aimed at creating a specialist who can: - improve methods of analysis and diagnostics of chemical materials; - evaluate and purposefully change the physical and chemical characteristics of chemical materials; - engage in teaching activities with the introduction of advanced modern educational technologies; - develop technologies for obtaining new materials with specified properties.Upon completion of this educational program, it is expected that masters will be able to:
1) Interpret scientific theories and concepts that reflect the current state of chemical materials science in the General system of scientific knowledge (objects, properties, structure, methods of synthesis and analysis, production technologies, methods of forecasting and modeling of material properties), as well as related teaching technologies in this field;
2) Systematize modern scientific and technical information about the properties of materials, technologies for their production in accordance with the methodology and philosophy of scientific knowledge based on advanced scientific literature, including indexed in international bibliographic, abstract, and scientific periodic databases;
3) Use modern materials science and testing equipment to solve problems of analysis and diagnostics of high-level materials, as well as computer technologies for analysis, modeling and data processing;
4) Develop methods for purposeful regulation and modification of properties of chemical materials in accordance with their applied purpose, based on a fundamental understanding of the relationship between the chemical composition, structure and target properties of the material;
5) Improve methods for analyzing the composition and physical and chemical properties of materials, taking into account the achievements of science in the field of chemical materials science;
6) Plan and implement comprehensive research and testing in the study of materials, processes of their production, processing and modification;
7) Solve actual problems of materials science in science and production, using modern scientific achievements, databases and information and computer technologies;
8) Develop methods for obtaining new construction, inorganic, bio-organic, nanoscale and other promising materials;
9) Implement the educational process in chemical science in higher and secondary special education with application of modern educational technology, teaching methods, management psychology;
10) Propose to implement innovative technologies in scientific, educational and production processes for the preparation and study of chemical materials;
11) Critically evaluate the latest achievements of the theory and practice of chemical materials science with the aim of their use for own development;
12) Manage teams and labor collectives in changing working conditions, using knowledge of human and collective psychology and the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on science and education
Master's degree educational programs
Persons entering the master’s degree or residency:when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:
1) an application addressed to the head of the organization of higher and postgraduate education in any form;
2) document on higher education (original);
3) certificate of completion of the internship (for admission to residency);
4) identity document (required for personal identification);
5) six photographs 3x4 centimeters in size;
6) a medical certificate in the form 075 / y in electronic format, approved by order No. 175/2020 MHC RK
A medical certificate is required only directly upon enrollment in a university, which will begin in August.
7) a certificate confirming knowledge of a foreign language:
English: IELTS Academic - at least 6.0; TOEFL IBT - not less than 60; TOEFL PBT - not less than 498;
German: DSH, - level C1, TestDaF-Prufung - level C1;
French: TFI - not lower than level B1 in reading and listening sections, DELF - level B2, DALF - level C1, TCF - not less than 50 points (if available);
8) a document confirming labor activity (for persons with seniority);
9) a list of scientific and scientific-methodical works (if any).
The documents listed in subparagraphs 3), 7) and 8) are provided in originals and copies, after verification of which the originals are returned to the service recipient.
