Functions of the legal clinic:
- providing citizens with the opportunity to receive legal advice free of charge;
- Providing assistance in filing applications, complaints and
other legal documents;
- use of materials from the practice of local judicial and other law enforcement agencies in the educational process at KazNU;
- providing an opportunity for teachers and students of KazNU to study the materials of the practice of local judicial and other law enforcement agencies and use them to prepare for lectures and practical classes;
- creation of places for students to have practical training;
- creation of a real basis for cooperation with local judicial and other law enforcement agencies;
- creation of an effective mechanism for the exchange of information between the population, the media and the legal clinic, which will allow prompt response to the practical needs of citizens.
- carrying out work to promote the current legislation, organizing and conducting events for the general legal education of the population.

Tasks of the legal clinic:
- provision of free consultations and clarifications on legal issues;
- increasing the level of legal literacy of the population;
- expansion of cooperation between KazNU and local judicial and other law enforcement agencies;
- providing students of the Faculty of Law with the opportunity to gain practical skills in the legal specialty.
