Meeting with School Students within SDG 4 “Quality Education”

In 22 December 2025 year as part of career guidance as well as the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 — Quality Education, a meeting was held between Associate Professor Saule Dzhumakanovna Maussumbekova of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and senior students of Secondary School No. 128 named after M. O. Auezov in Almaty.

During the meeting, a lecture was delivered on the educational program “6B05405 — Applied Mathematics.” The Associate Professor highlighted the role of applied mathematics in the modern digital world, opportunities in mathematical modeling, programming, artificial intelligence, and data analysis, as well as the practical training of students and career prospects for graduates. Particular attention was paid to the interdisciplinary nature of the program and its strong demand in the labor market. The meeting generated strong interest among students and contributed to raising awareness of contemporary educational opportunities at Al-Farabi KazNU.
