SDG 5 — Gender Equality | Women in STEM / IT

Within the framework of the Women in STEM/IT initiative, the Department of Information Systems gave an interview highlighting the professional and academic achievements of women successfully working in science and information technology.

During the interview, the Head of the Department, Acting Associate Professor A.N. Shormakova, and Senior Lecturer Zh. Duisenbekkyzy shared their professional journeys, research experience, and contributions to higher education. They also discussed the role of women in science and IT, career development opportunities, and the importance of supporting young professionals.

The interview served as a motivational example for students and contributed to the promotion of gender equality principles and the advancement of women’s participation in science and the IT sector.
