27 BEST INSTRUCTORS OF KAZNU WERE AWARDED

The award ceremony of the best university instructors was held in Astana. 27 members of the academic staff of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were also recognized as the best in the republican competition out of 775 applicants. Each winner was awarded 6 million KZT. The certificates were presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek.

The winners of the competition were 150 instructors from 43 Kazakhstani universities. Each of them received remuneration in the amount of 2000 MCI (6 million 126 thousand tenge). In addition the winners were awarded badges.

It should be noted that the commission of the republican competition evaluated such indicators as the scientific publications in local and international journals, the availability of patents for inventions, etc. The quality of the applicant's teaching, his/her performance on training in bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies were also evaluated.
