Professors of Ural Federal University met with teachers of KazNU

At the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, a meeting was held with professors of the Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia, B.N. Yeltsin, in order to strengthen the scientific partnership.

Within the framework of the working visit, the delegation of the Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin (UrFU) took part in the scientific and theoretical seminar "Turkic echo in the world epic culture" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the translator, Turkologist Kairat Zhanabayev and the international round table "Experience and prospects of cooperation in the field of socio-humanitarian sciences", which were held at the Research Institute of Turkology and Altaic Studies.

The delegation included Prof. Dr. Psycho. Sciences, corresponding member of the RAO, Director of the UGI UrFU Elvira Samanyuk, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Deputy. Director of the UGI UrFU for the development of educational programs and social partnerships, Dmitry Chernoukhov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department for the Organization of Scientific and Innovative Work of the UGI UrFU Julia Zapari and senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Regional Studies at the UGI UrFU Denis Zheriborov.

In his welcoming speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Bekzhan Meirbayev spoke about the staff and activities of the faculty, goals, and objectives. He expressed his desire and willingness to cooperate with Russian colleagues in the field of joint implementation of scientific and educational projects.

During the talks, Professor, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Ural Humanitarian Institute of UrFU Elvira Simanyuk spoke about the scientific infrastructure of UrFU, which includes 72 key research centers and 164 research laboratories equipped with the most modern devices, including 12 international laboratories headed by scientists from leading Western universities.

"Access to unique equipment and the possibility of cooperation with international researchers opens up wide opportunities for students' scientific activities," said Elvira Evaldovna.

During the conversation, the parties discussed areas of cooperation and shared ideas on the joint implementation of projects. The meeting ended with a memorable photo session.
