PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK MEDIA MANAGER AT KAZNU

The scientific conference "Television Management: Experience and Scientific Approach" dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Kazakh television was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev opened the conference with a welcoming speech. In his speech, the rector congratulated all journalists on the 65th anniversary of the foundation of Kazakh television. He noted that KazNU has formed its own school for training journalists, and this is the forge of national journalism.

"This year Kazakh television turns 65 years old. Most of the working journalists in this field are graduates of KazNU. Among the people who have contributed to the formation of Kazakh television, one can especially highlight Kanapiya Mustafin and Sovet Mazgutov. Also graduates of the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU are such figures as Sherkhan Murtaza, Kamal Smailov, Sagat Ashimbayev, Nurtileu Imangaliuly, who led the Kazakh television," the rector of the university said.

At the end of his speech, Zhanseit Tuimebayev expressed the wish that Kazakh journalism would continue to reach great heights in the global information space and wished success in the work of the conference.

Within the framework of the event, the presentation of the book "Media Manager" Nurzhan Zhalaukyzy took place. The author noted that the collection was written for a student audience.

"My book "Media Manager" is a collection of interviews that I have given during my work over the past twenty years. In the book I share my experience. Any student who has read the book can get answers to the following questions: "How did domestic journalism develop?" What programs in the Kazakh language have been created at the moment? What is the purpose of their implementation?". I think this book will become an additional textbook for students of journalism faculties. In this regard, I would like to express my gratitude to the management and staff of the university for organizing today's event and holding the presentation of my collection," Nurzhan Zhalaukyzy said.
