International Forum “Greater Eurasian Partnership in the Age of Global Change”

We are pleased to announce that from September 14 to 15, 2023, the International Forum “Greater Eurasian Partnership in the Age of Global Change” was successfully held in Almaty in the conference hall of the Best Western Plus Atakent Park Hotel. The main goal of the Forum was to establish a platform for popularizing science and innovation in the interests of business and states.The Forum sought to create a space where professionals, academics, researchers and representatives of public organizations from different parts of Eurasia could exchange ideas, experiences and knowledge. It was aimed at understanding the social, cultural and humanitarian aspects of modern social problems. In addition, the Forum promoted intellectual exchange, collaboration and the creation of a network of professionals promoting the development of social sciences and humanities research.The forum has become an active platform for discussing significant social and humanitarian issues, as well as a place for finding solutions and developing new ideas for their implementation. In addition, the Forum was attended by civil servants, university representatives, leading experts, scientists and diplomats specializing in the field of international cooperation, both from Kazakhstan and from other countries of Central Asia, China, Russia, Asia-Pacific and Southeast Asian countries.

On September 15, 2023, a successful round table session within the framework of Section 1, organized by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and dedicated to the topics of international relations, the East and energy, ended. The moderator of this session was A.S. Zhakypov, PhD of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.The first speaker was Xie Yiping, Ph.D., senior lecturer at the History Department of Yan'an University, who presented a report on the formation of diplomacy of a major power with the peculiarities of China in the Asia-Pacific region in the new time.Then Gubaidullina M.S., Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Defense and World Economy of KazNU. Al-Farabi shared her views on the promising areas of SCO cooperation in the field of energy, especially in the context of cooperation between China, Russia and Kazakhstan.Kulymbetuly I.N., Master's degree, senior lecturer of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory of KazNU. Al-Farabi raised the question of the future prospects of cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and Russia.Wu Hui, a Russian language teacher and journalist, shared his thoughts on the potential for developing cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the field of culture.M.S. Ramich, Assistant Professor of the Department of Theory and History of International Relations at the RUDN, highlighted the unconditional advantages of the SCO model for regional security cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.Ermekov A., teacher of KazNU named after Al-Farabi considered in detail the prospects for the institutionalization of the security system in Asia, taking into account the multipolar nature of the world.Asylbayev A.B., Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of "Construction" of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, stressed the importance of strengthening peace and harmony between the countries of Central Asia and within Greater Eurasia.Laamarti Yu.A., PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Innovation of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, presented an analysis of the impact of the introduction of social facilities and new housing on the demographic situation in the EAEU.Altayeva K.Zh., PhD, Associate professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, focused on the impact of economic sanctions against Russia on integration processes in the EAEU.Movkebaeva G.A., Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Defense and World Economy of KazNU. al-Farabi, made a report on cooperation in the field of energy within the EAEU.I.A. Tyutkova, PhD, Professor at the RosBioTech Institute, shared her vision of the prospects for expanded partnership within Greater Eurasia.Toktamysov S.Zh., Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian History of the RUDN, considered the prospects for the formation of transport integration in the Central Asian region on the example of the Transcaspian Railway.
