On October 7, 2023, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 6: “Clean water and sanitation,” the administration of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a university-wide Cleanup Day. The dean and deputy deans of the Faculty of Philology, the teaching staff of the Department of Foreign Languages, as well as the teaching staff of Faculty of Philology, PhD students, masters’ degree students and bachelor’s degree students took part in the cleanup day. The main goals of this event were:
1) to clean the university campus territory from garbage;
2) to instill a sense of social responsibility in students and to involve them in social activities;
3) to preserve the environment.
