NEW HORIZONS OF COOPERATION
Representatives of the Department of Chemical Physics and Materials Science visited the Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST, China) from September 16 to 24, 2023, which celebrated its 70th anniversary with the “Forum on the Development of Functional Materials and Technologies between China and the CIS Countries.”
Within the framework of this forum, reports by M.I. Tulepov on the topic “Energy-intensive Systems Advantages and Prospects of Development in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, Professor Z.A. Mansurov on the topic “Nano Porous Carbon Based Material for Different Applications” were presented and marked with letters of gratitude from the President of NUNT, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Professor Fu Mengyin.
Together with colleagues Xiaohong Jiang, Ruiki Shen (China), Kakhomov S.A. the rector of Gomel State University, academicians of the National Academy of Belarus N.K. Myshkin, A.A. Rogachev, Ramon Artiaga University of La Coruna (Spain), Giuseppe Vecchi Politecnico di Torino (Italy) discussed joint scientific work, agreed upon training plans master's students, doctoral students, academic mobility of teaching staff.
The resolution decided to appoint doctoral student Musatai Y., who entered the specialty “Chemical Technology of Explosives and Pyrotechnics”, as a foreign consultant, Professor Ruiki Shen (China), on the preparation of a joint project on the following topics: Hail-breaking missiles and artillery systems used to combat forest fires and hail , Squibs that stimulate artificial precipitation in arid regions.
Representatives of NUNT, Professors Xiaohong Jiang and Ruiki Shen, expressed a desire to visit Kazakhstan to participate in the XIV INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM “Combustion and Plasma Chemistry. Physics and Chemistry of Carbon and Nanopower Materials” held on November 7-8 at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University for further cooperation.
