The A. Kasteev Museum of Art is a reflection of the rich and multifaceted history of our country, where modern sculpture of Kazakhstan, the A. Kasteev Memorial Hall, Kazakh folk applied art, fine art of Kazakhstan, Russian art, Western European art, art of the Soviet period, art of the East are concentrated.
The students also visited the exhibition of the modern Korean photographer Ok Sun Kim «The Story of you and me». The exhibition presents the works of the photographer, reflecting nature, the objects around us and strangers who migrated for matrimonial purposes, in pursuit of work or fleeing from natural disasters.
A visit to the A. Kasteev Art Museum introduced students to the cultural and artistic heritage of Kazakhstan, had a significant impact on the development of students' critical thinking, historical empathy and tolerance.
