STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF MECHANICS AND MATHEMATICS WON THE COMPETITION

On November 18, 2023, the city competition “Shakarim, Magzhan, Sultanmakhmut” was held in Almaty, dedicated to the 165th anniversary of Sh. Kudaiberdiuly and the 130th anniversary of Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov and Magzhan Zhumabaiuly among students studying in technical specialties of 11 higher educational institutions.

1st year students of the specialty “Applied Mathematics” of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Erkinova Akmaral, Sharipbai Nurlybek, Zhasuzak Bakdaulet, Sayatuly Sanat, Bildeshbai Isatay, Alibek Ayimzhan, Imandiev Baglan took part in the competition, the purpose of which is to familiarize the creativity of the Alash intelligentsia, educate youth through the creative world to patriotism, glorify the goals of the political and spiritual struggle, the exploits of Alash figures.

In this competition, consisting of three stages, a video recording of the group was presented and a poetic and creative composition prepared based on the works of Sh. Kudayberdiuly was rated by the jury as the best, and the name and emblems of our team “Shamshyrak” also coincided with the theme of the competition. Both in the intellectual competition and in the public speaking competition called "Oitolgau", by correctly answering most of the quiz questions, students were able to formulate their thoughts about the problem of youth in modern society.

As a result, thanks to their culture of using information and communication technologies, teamwork skills in a group, the students took 1st place in a spiritual competition with great educational meaning, and also received 250,000 tenge assigned by the “Umit” charitable foundation.
