Working trip of KazNU scientists to Urumqi has started

A two-day working trip of scientists of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to Urumqi, China, has begun.

Delegation headed by Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of RK Darhan Ahmed-Zaki and Chairman of the Board - Rector of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebayev arrived in China specially at the invitation of Vice Minister of Education of PRC.

During the visit members of the delegation will take part and make reports at the international scientific symposium of universities of Kazakhstan and China.

Also KazNU for the first time among Kazakhstani universities will hold its scientific exhibition in China. The purpose - wide acquaintance of Chinese universities with successful innovative projects of scientists of KazNU, and also attraction of partners for production and commercialization of scientific works, exchange of experience. The exhibition will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education of China, embassies of the two countries, teachers, scientists and students of 150 universities in China.

40 best scientific and innovative projects of KazNU will be presented to the attention of the participants.

During the working trip to China, representatives of KazNU will visit a number of universities in China, where they will familiarize themselves with the activities of educational institutions and discuss issues of further cooperation.

In addition, it is planned that Al-Farabi KazNU will sign agreements on cooperation with higher educational institutions and institutes of China.
