From February 26 to February 29, 2024, the 74th Interfaculty Sports Competition among male students of al-Farabi KazNU in volleyball dedicated to the 90th anniversary of al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held in the sports complex of al-Farabi KazNU, in hall No. 1.
105 athletes took part in the competition. 10 faculties sent their teams. The games were exciting. All participants played with great enthusiasm.
The places were distributed as follows:
1st place – Faculty of Medicine and Health Care;
2nd place – Faculty of Physics and Technology;
3rd place – Faculty of Journalism;
4th place – Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics;
5th place – Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Higher School of Economics and Business;
6th place – Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences;
7th place – Faculty of Law;
8th place – Faculty of Information Technologies;
9th place – Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.
The competition demonstrated true sportsmanship. The final games were breathtaking and very emotional. There was a fight for every ball.
The team of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Care once again proved its skills, taking first place.
