Seminar "Water is the source of life"

On March 13, 2024, a scientific seminar was held by the senior lecturer of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Yerezhepkyzy Roza on the topic "Water is the source of life" as part of the implementation of Goal 6: Ensuring the availability and rational use of water resources and sanitation for all. On the eve of World Water Day or World Water Day (World Water Day or World Day of Water), which is celebrated annually in the world on March 22.
The purpose of the scientific seminar is to assess the current state, rational use and protection of water resources. Information was provided on the state, water supply and main problems of water resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, data on the types and functions of water monitoring were provided. Water is one of the most necessary resources for humanity. Therefore, the sustainable development of water resources is the key to a bright future for our generations. A lot of interesting questions were asked on the topic, and an active discussion of further plans was held.
