AN ONLINE LECTURE ON SDG-11 WAS HELD

On September 8, 2023, a unique lecture was held in an online format through the popular Zoom platform, which provided an opportunity for everyone to immerse themselves in the topical issues of creating sustainable cities and human settlements in compliance with SDG-11 standards. This event was organized with the aim of spreading knowledge and transferring experience on the example of the creation of the Almaty agglomeration.

The lecture was conducted by Doctor of Agricultural Sciences and Professor of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre Abubakirova Kalkash Daurenbekovna.

During the lecture, the key aspects of SDG-11 were considered and applied in practice through the analysis of the successful experience of the Almaty agglomeration.

The event was a significant step in spreading knowledge about sustainable urban development and confirmed the importance of dialogue and exchange of experience to address modern challenges in the field of urban infrastructure and environmental sustainability.
