Joldasbekova Bayan Umirbekovna is a Doctor of Philology, Professor, Dean of the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2012).
Work experience: after graduating from graduate school, she worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature at Secondary School No. 90 in Almaty. In 1988-1992, he was a junior researcher at the M. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. In 1993-1998, he was the head of the Personnel Department of the State Committee for Tourism “Yassaui". In 1998-2000 – Consultant of the Department of International Relations and Protocol of the Office of the Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Scientific activity: The defense of the candidate's thesis took place at a meeting of the Dissertation Council d.53.34.01 of the M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Topic: “The artistic originality of I.P. Shukhov's epic prose".
The defense of the doctoral dissertation took place on 19.10.2006 at a meeting of the Dissertation Council D 14A.02.22 of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Topic: “Russian epic prose of Kazakhstan in the 20-70s of the XX century.”
He is the head of fundamental research projects at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
