The ІІ International Scientific and Practical Conference "PARADIGM OF SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE CONDITIONS OF GLOBAL CHANGES: CALLS, IMPLICATIONS, POSSIBILITIES"

Within the framework of the ІІ International Scientific and Practical Conference "PARADIGM OF SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE CONDITIONS OF GLOBAL CHANGES: CALLS, IMPLICATIONS, POSSIBILITIES" organised by the Al-Farabi Graduate School of Economics and Business of KazNU.

On 8 April 2024, the Department of Finance and Accounting organised and held a session on "Finance, Accounting and State Audit as the main constants of sustainable economic development in the conditions of modern".

The session was attended by representatives of various sectors of domestic and foreign financial and accounting system, as well as teachers, young scientists and doctoral students.

1) Ahmad Afandi Mahfudz - PhD, Professor, College of Islamic Economics and Law, Darussalam Gontor University, Ponogoro, Indonesia, topic of the report "Issues and Challenges in interest benchmarking for Islamic finance".

2) Baryshev Maxim Anatolievich - Head of the Republican Fund for Support of Injured Business "Kushimiz Birlikte", founder of "Uchet.kz", Chairman, Member of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry "Atameken", co-chairman of Respublica party, topic of the report "Digitalisation of accounting and auditing: prospects and problems of development in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

3) Mukhanova Gayni Kazibaevna - Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Director of Research Institute of JSC "Academy of Financial Monitoring "AML ACADEMY" under the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Financial Monitoring, the subject of the report "International activities in the field of AML/CFT and Recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF / FATF) for Kazakhstan in the framework of the National Risk Assessment (NRA)".

4) Suyenbayeva Gulvira Mukhanbayevna - Head of Taxpayer Relations Department of the State Revenue Administration for Bostandyk District of Almaty, subject of the report "Universal declaration of citizens: peculiarities of filling in the forms 250 and 270 " http://bostan.salyq.kz/

5) Kogut Oksana Yurievna - PhD, acting assistant professor of the department "Finance and Accounting", the topic of the report "Modern problems of performance audit in Kazakhstan and consideration of foreign experience"

6) Kidirmaganbetova Anar Ibragimovna - PhD doctoral student of the educational programme "Accounting and Audit", topic of the report "Development of financial market in the context of anti-crisis management".

7) Isaeva Aiman Amangeldievna - Master's degree, senior lecturer of the Department of "Finance and Accounting", the topic of the report "Features of logistics cost accounting".

Based on the results of the discussion, practical proposals were made to coordinate the work of the department and representatives of the financial system:

1. Centre of digitalisation of accounting and finance of the department "Finance and Accounting" and Web resource "Uchet.kz" in the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation will carry out joint work to equip the classrooms and offices of the centre with specialised accounting software and training materials.

2. The State Revenue Department of Bostandyk district of Almaty and the Department of Finance and Accounting will discuss the possibility of joint work to improve tax literacy of citizens, including potential individual entrepreneurs. It is envisaged to develop educational literature, joint educational seminars and production of educational videos.

3. The developed practical proposals and recommendations for reducing logistics costs on the example of the dairy industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be sent to the relevant government agencies and associations for further testing.
