Fostering a Positive and Engaging Learning Environment

Foreign students are an integral part of the modern education system in Kazakhstan. The presence of foreign students at our University demonstrates the relevance of our educational process and increases the rating of al-Farabi University. For many years, foreign students have been receiving education within the walls of KazNU. Students from such countries as Iran, Ukraine, Russia, Vietnam, China, UAE, Ethiopia, Afghanistan and others study at different faculties of KazNU. The University creates favorable conditions for receiving a decent education.
To improve language skills, the University and our Foreign Languages Department conduct courses, if necessary, in English. In January 2024 four students studying General Medicine from India and Egypt took a 45-hour course to increase their GPA. The course lasted for two weeks.
Ali Saifeldin Mohamed Asmail Mohamed, Angalamman Sivakumar Rajkumar, Rajendran Ganesan Badris Chidambaram and Naduthotti Sambasivan Aswin were keen to improve their knowledge of English. They constantly worked hard. They were very perceptive and quickly became familiar with new information. They were enthusiastic and took every opportunity for personal development.
