X Anniversary International Youth Forum « GREEN BRIDGE THROUGH GENERATIONS»

INFORMATION LETTER

Dear colleagues! al Farabi Kazakh National University invites you to take part from April 25 to April 27, 2024 in the X Anniversary International Youth Forum «Green bridge through generations», dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university. The purpose of the conference creation of an international dialogue platform for students and young scientists to discuss and highlight current trends in promoting «green» initiatives and research in Earth and environmental sciences in the interests of sustainable development. Students, undergraduates, doctoral students and young scientists in the field of Earth and environmental sciences, topical issues of international relations, media education and advertising technology are invited to participate in the forum. Working languages: Kazakh, Russian, English. The forum program provides for the work of plenary, sectional and final sessions. Work in sections in the following areas:

1. Modern Climate Change, Environmental Sustainability of Geosystems and life Safety;

2. Geoinformation Mapping and Geosystem Modeling to Solve Problems of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre;

3. Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality: Science, Practice, Initiatives;

4. «Green» PR for a Sustainable Future;

5. Current Problems of Modern International Relations and Sustainable Development Goals;

6. Perspectives for Implementing Effective Solutions for Sustainable Energy Supply

Conditions of participation in the scientific and practical conference

Form of participation: offline, online. All participants will be provided with certificates confirming their participation in the forum. The forum materials will be published in the form of an electronic collection on the Green Bridge Through Generations website: http://greenbridgework.kaznu.kz/ . The registration form of the participant and articles are accepted electronically by the secretaries of the youth forum until April 20, 2024.

Requirements for the design of materials. The name of the file with the article: the surname of the author (the first author, if the article is co-authored) _ article (for example, Ivanov_statya).

The volume of articles: for bachelor and master students – 3-5 pages, for doctoral students - 5-10 pages. The material should be typed in a Word text editor using the Times New Roman font, size 12 in one interval. Page parameters: top margin - 2 cm, bottom margin - 2 cm, left margin - 3 cm, right margin - 1.5 cm. Diagrams, graphs, diagrams, drawings and other graphic materials can be made in black and white by means of the Word text editor. The graphic materials of the table should contain references in the text, the serial number and the name. References to primary sources in the text are enclosed in square brackets indicating the number from the list of sources used and page numbers when quoting; the list (issued according to GOST 7.1-2003) is placed at the end of the article (Appendix No. 2).

The structure of the article includes:

− IRSTI (The rubricator is publicly available online http://grnti.ru ), alignment - on the left edge, font – bold. Space between lines

− The title of the article (Title) The optimal title length is 5-7 words (in some cases 10-12 words). The title of the article is presented in bold, uppercase letters, alignment is centered.

− The author(s) of the article - indicating the name and surname (bold, size 12), place of work, city, country, email (size 10). Information about the authors is presented in a regular font, lowercase letters, alignment is centered. Space between lines

− Abstract no more than 150 words (italic font).

− Keywords: number of 5 words or phrases. Space between lines Contents of the article: Introduction. Initial data and research methods. Results. Conclusions (Text alignment to the page width).

The list of references separated by a space after the main text, 10 font size.

The organizing committee of the conference reserves the right to reject articles submitted outside the main areas of the conference and do not meet the above requirements. The text must be edited stylistically competently and technically correctly. The organizing committee does not edit texts for publication. No more than two articles are accepted from one author.

Organizational fee: An organizational fee for participation in the conference is provided in the amount of 3 thousand tenge ($ 7) per article for up to 4 authors, aimed at reimbursement of expenses for preparing and holding the conference. Payment of the registration fee for foreign conference participants participating in person is provided upon arrival at al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Payment procedure: Payment for participation from an individual - by bank transfer through the Kaspi payment service, transfer to the number of the technical secretary of the selected section.
