Seminar-meeting on the theme "Legal culture - the main condition for minimizing corruption in society"

Employees of Compliance Control Service of KazNU named after Al-Farabi on March 28, 2024 took part in the seminar-meeting organized by Almaty city branch of the Republican public association "Nationwide movement against corruption "JANARU", the event was held within the framework of the social project "Carrying out a set of measures to improve the legal literacy of young people and the level of trust in law enforcement agencies".  

This time the topic "Legal culture - the main condition for minimizing corruption in society" was chosen for the dialogue.

The meeting was attended by the staff of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, heads and representatives of state and law enforcement agencies, deputies of the Maslikhat of Almaty, members of public councils and public organizations of Almaty, media representatives, activists of "JANARU" NGO.

The moderator of the event was Mr. Boris Alikenovich Dzhaparov, Director of Almaty City Branch of "JANARU" RPA.

All participants participated in the dialog in the format "reports, questions-answers".

Abilova Aigerim Zhenisovna - Director of the Almaty branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Salimbaev Kanat Asembaevich - Head of the Prevention Division of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rysbekova Zhanar Kasymbekovna - Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Social Work of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, Adibai Aipara Oryngalievna - an expert in the field of anti-corruption compliance, author of the methodology of the practical course on anti-corruption compliance.

Speakers during the discussion covered the theoretical basis of legal culture, "Topical issues of anti-corruption, the role of compliance officers", gave examples from practice as legal culture minimizes corruption and thus proved that legal culture is the main condition for minimizing corruption, voiced ideas, suggestions and recommendations for the development of legal culture.
