Rector of Kostanay Regional Universityа named after Akhmet Baitursynov, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor, member of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan.
Kuanyshbayev Seitbek Bekenovich was born on April 15, 1965 in the village of Abay, Langersky district, South Kazakhstan (now Turkestan) region. In 1989 graduated from KazSU named after S. M. Kirov with the qualification "Geographer, teacher".
After graduating from the University, S. B. Kuanyshbayev was engaged in research and teaching activities at KazSU, taking up the duties of a research trainee, later he was appointed an assistant of the Department of Geomorphology, and in 1996-a senior lecturer of the Department of Tourism, and then the Department of Geomorphology of Al-FarabiKazakh State University.
In the same year, Seitbek Bekenovich successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Geographical Sciences on the topic "Modern relief-forming processes based on space images (on the example of the Ili-Balkhash region)" at the Kyrgyz State University (Bishkek).
In 1999, S. B. Kuanyshbayev received the title of Associate Professor, in 2001 he became head of the Department of Geomorphology and Cartography of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
During this period, Seitbek Bekenovich continues his research in the field of reliefs and relief-forming processes of the Ili-Balkhash region, actively publishes and speaks at various scientific platforms and forums of both international, тaкand national level. The logical result of this activity was the successful defense of a doctoral dissertation in 2010 at the Institute of Geography of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic " Relief and relief-forming processes of the territory of economic development (on the example of the Ili-Balkhash region)".
Seitbek Bekenovich Kuanyshbaev is the author of more than 50 works on the problems of mapping, studying modern relief-forming processes, as well as textbooks on topography and cartography. In 2004-2012. Seitbek Bekenovich successfully combines research activities with the position of vice-rector for Educational and Methodological Work of Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute.
6 On January, 2012, by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Seitbek Bekenovich Kuanyshbayev was appointed Rector of the Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute named after I. Today ArkSPI is positioned as a leader that implements training in the state language in the system of higher pedagogical education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2007, S. B. Kuanyshbayev was awarded the badge знaком "S.Altynsarin". In 2014, he was awarded the title ofhonorary Professor of Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute.
