Guest lecture "All about total dictation"

  On April 19, 2024 at the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature of the Faculty of Philology  the lecture  on the topic: "All about total dictation"   was delivered  for  the 1st year International Students (RCT major).  

  Professor S.Begalieva  made  a presentation on the topic, explained the meaning of the term "total dictation", told about the history of this event. She also said  that total dictation was  held as an educational event which gave  everyone the opportunity to test their knowledge of Russian grammar..

In Kazakhstan, Total Dictation is held annually, which is popular. This year it was  held in Almaty on April 20. 

 Following the lecture,  the foreign students wrote a dictation on the topic "Take care of honor from a young age."

  This proverb became the epigraph to the  story "The Captain's Daughter" byn A.S. Pushkin. This story is  about honor and dishonor, loyalty and betrayal, love and hate.

 The   students who participated in the online  contest  devoted to the  225th anniversary of the Russian poet   held   on  the Yandex-Teleconference platform   by  the invitation of the head of the Russian Center of the Kazakh-Russian International University (Aktobe) E. Yemelyanova also took part in the lecture. 

  The students read poems by A.S. Pushkin in Russian and Turkmen languages. 

  The competition was interesting and lively. Each participant enjoyed participating  and gained experience for further creative endeavors. 

  Shamyradova Dzhumagul took  the 2nd place in  the recitation competition and  the other  participants received certificates.
