John Eng Guk is a Korean citizen who studied the Kazakh language in the 2022-2023 academic year at the Faculty of Pre-University Education of the Department of Language and General Education for Foreigners. He is a linguist who studied in China for many years, lived there, learned the Uyghur language and came to Kazakhstan in 2022 for research purposes. Currently, he continues research into the Uyghur language in Kazakhstan.
