The head of the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics at the Faculty of Physics and Technology Medeu Abishev gave an interview to the newspaper "Vecher Almaty" regarding the construction of a nuclear power plant.
"I believe that the construction of the nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan will have a multiplier effect in all sectors of the economy, science, and education. The positive aspects of the construction outweigh the concerns expressed by some members of society. The NPP will positively impact all social spheres both during its construction and operation. It is important to understand that modern projects of this kind inherently have high safety standards," Medeu Abishev noted.
