Welcoming meeting of the Dean of the Faculty of History with 1st-year students

Today, September 2, 2024, at the Faculty of History of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a meeting of first-year students with the Dean of the Faculty, Dosbol Suleimenovich Baigunakov, and the heads of departments took place. This event was an important event for new students who are just starting their journey in the study of history.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech from the dean, who congratulated the students on their admission to the faculty and wished them success in their studies. He emphasized the importance of their chosen profession and its role in the preservation and development of the country's cultural heritage.

Then the floor was given to the heads of departments, who spoke about the specifics of each department, the main areas of research and the opportunities that open up for students in the learning process. They also answered questions from freshmen regarding the educational process, scientific activities and student life.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The students received a lot of useful information and were able to get acquainted with the faculty leadership. This event helped them to better understand the specifics of studying at the Faculty of History and decide on the choice of specialization.

At the end of the meeting, the dean wished the students success in their studies and expressed hope for their active participation in the life of the faculty. He stressed that the doors of his office are always open to students, and he is ready to provide them with support and assistance in any matters.
