Round table on the topic «quality education as a means to combat social inequality»

The Faculty of Pre-University Education at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a round table discussion on «Quality Education as a Means to Combat Social Inequality» at the Department of Language and General Education for Foreigners. Organized by Group 14’s mentor, Zhansaya Shukirkyzy Aden, the event aimed to raise students' awareness about the importance of quality education as a key factor in sustainable development.

During the discussion, participants explored the significance of SDG #4 in creating inclusive societies and the role of quality and accessible education in combating poverty and social inequality. Zhansaya Shukirkyzy informed students about the importance of implementing modern educational standards, improving educational infrastructure, and the ways in which KazNU contributes to achieving this goal.

Students actively shared their thoughts and ideas, discussing how they can contribute to achieving quality education in Kazakhstan. Participants proposed initiatives related to volunteer activities and social projects aimed at supporting education. At the close of the round table, students expressed their commitment to developing their knowledge and skills to help promote access to education and equal opportunities for all.
