World Wrestling Championship.

The championship program includes competitions in freestyle, Greco-Roman and women's wrestling. In each type of wrestling, medals are awarded in four non-Olympic weight categories.

A graduate of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Nurkozha KAIPANOV, became the world champion in freestyle wrestling in the 70 kg weight category.
