On 07.11.2024, 4th year students of the specialty "Social Pedagogy and Self–knowledge" held an event called "Mamandygym – maqtanyshym" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 85th anniversary of the Department of Pedagogy and Management of Education. The main purpose of the event was to increase interest in the specialty of a social pedagogue and demonstrate its importance. During the event, various games were held, proverbs and sayings were spoken, as well as information about the features and advantages of the profession was given. In addition, the students watched a short video reflecting the role of this specialty in society and discussed it. At the meeting, students shared their thoughts on social pedagogy and discussed important aspects of the profession. There was a sense of pride and interest of future social educators in their specialty.
