In 2024, Malika Abek successfully completed a dual-degree program in International Relations, earning degrees from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.

Malika was motivated by the opportunity to study at two universities simultaneously.

One of the most significant projects during her studies was research on cybersecurity issues in the CIS region conducted with colleagues from Kyrgyzstan, resulting in the publication of an article in a Russian scientific journal.

Studying on the dual-degree program allowed Malika to learn how to build relationships with people from different countries, communicate effectively despite language barriers, work correctly with research and sources, analyze information, and develop responsibility and self-discipline.
