On October 3, 2024, at the Department of Turkology and Language Theory, an online webinar on the topic "Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education" was organized for the undergraduates and the doctoral students within the framework of SDG 4: Quality Education. During the online webinar there was given an overview of the QS World University Rankings. Al-farabi KazNU is the first and the only university in Kazakhstan and Central Asia which was to be ranked among the top 200 universities in the world. The university has achieved high results in terms of lecturer-student ratio, number of students, international research network, and sustainable development indicators.
