On December 14, 2024, 2nd year master's student Sadagali Demizhan held a meeting with 1st and 2nd year students in the specialties "Physical Culture and Sports" and "Sport" within the framework of the SDG program, dedicated to goal No. 7 - "Low-cost and clean energy" on the topic: "Renewable energy: an affordable path to sustainable development"
He introduced students to renewable energy sources and their importance for the sustainable development of society, discussed the following issues: The concept and types of renewable energy; availability and cost-effectiveness of clean energy; the impact of renewable sources on the environment and sustainable development; examples of successful projects in the world and Kazakhstan for the introduction of renewable energy.
The meeting contributed to the expansion of students' knowledge of renewable energy as an affordable path to sustainable development. The participants of the event realized the importance of environmental responsibility and the need to introduce "clean" technologies in various spheres of life.
