Dear Colleagues!
We invite you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference
"Humanities in the Digitalization Era: Opportunities and Limitations of Artificial Intelligence."
The conference is dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the scientific and educational activities of the Faculty of Pre-University Education.
Date: April 28, 2025.
Venue: Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Library (Almaty, Al-Farabi Avenue, 71/27), 4th floor, Conference Hall 409.
Plenary session start time: 10:00.
Objective of the Conference: the conference aims to promote the development of scientific and educational dialogue in the context of digital transformation, discuss the new opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence presents for the humanities, and develop practical recommendations for integrating modern technologies into scientific and educational practices.
The conference is designed to facilitate experience and knowledge exchange among scientists, educators, researchers, and practitioners, as well as to explore new approaches to solving pressing issues in science and education in the digital era.
Main Directions of the Conference:
• Artificial Intelligence and the Humanities: New Directions and Perspectives.
• Digital Technologies in Linguistics and Literary Studies.
• Digitalization and Analysis of Historical Data.
Researchers, educators, teachers in the field of humanities, specialists from research institutes, doctoral students, master's students, undergraduates, and other interested parties are invited to participate in the conference.
Format: Offline.
Working languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English.
Important Deadlines:
• Registration and abstract submission: by March 14, 2025.
• Conference program announcement: April 10, 2025.
• Conference date: April 21, 2025.

Conference materials will be published in an electronic collection.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MATERIAL SUBMISSION:
• The length of the paper (main text, references, captions for figures and tables) should not exceed 5 pages.
• The document should be prepared in Microsoft Word, font Times New Roman, size 12; line spacing 1.0; paragraph indentation 1 cm (set automatically); all margins 2 cm.
• The first line should include the author's full name (aligned to the right), the second line – affiliation (institution name), the third line – title of the paper (capitalized, centered), the fourth line – city and country, the fifth line – author's email address.
• References to figures and tables in the text should be given in round brackets (e.g., (Fig. 1, 2, 3), (Table 1, 2, 3)).
• References to sources should be cited in round brackets (author's last name, year of publication, page number), e.g., (Aliyeva, 2023: 65) or (Aliyeva, Boranbayeva, 2024: 65-71).
• The list of references should be formatted according to GOST requirements in alphabetical order in the original language at the end of the text.
• A 100-word abstract in two languages (original language and English) and up to 10 keywords should be included.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to reject materials that do not correspond to the conference's topic or do not meet the stated requirements.
Participants' travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the sending party.
