Darya Sergeevna Puzikova is a senior research fellow at the Laboratory of Electrochemistry and Nanotechnological Processes at the D.V. Sokolsky Institute of Fuel, Catalysis, and Electrochemistry in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She is also the chair of the Young Scientists Council of this institute and a member of the Young Scientists Council of the Kazakhstan-British Technical University.

In 2020, Darya Sergeevna was awarded the state scientific scholarship for talented young scientists, granted by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Technology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a bachelor's degree in "Materials Science and Technology of New Materials" in 2010, a master's degree in natural sciences in "Physics" in 2012, and a PhD in 2021.

Her scientific research focuses on the development of new semiconductor materials for photoelectrochemical solar cells, electrochemical technologies, and anti-corrosion protection. Darya Puzikova is the author of more than 30 scientific publications, holds several patents, and actively participates in international scientific projects, including collaborations with Belarusian State University and Saint Petersburg State University.
