The Academic Staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies

On February 20, 2025, the academic staff and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University participated in the expert strategic session titled "Ensuring the Quality of Educational Programs: Academic Approach and Innovative Solutions."

The session served as an annual platform for exchanging ideas and best practices in integrating science and education to foster a stable and inspiring educational environment.

The objective of the session was to develop practical recommendations and new approaches to ensuring the quality of educational programs through experience-sharing and discussions on innovative solutions with experts and young researchers.

The session covered the following key topics:

1. Designing the university’s portfolio of educational programs for advanced personnel training;
2. "My Profession – My Future" project for early-stage professional training;
3. Inclusive-oriented teacher training: current state and prospects;
4. Dual education: goals, objectives, challenges, and solutions;
5. Artificial intelligence in higher education;
6. Micro-qualifications: new ways to transform higher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The session’s program included a plenary meeting, panel expert sessions, and strategic group discussions at the faculty level.

Following the expert strategic session, the organizing committee plans to publish articles in the collection "Ensuring the Quality of Educational Programs: Academic Approaches and Innovative Solutions" at the "Kazakh University" publishing house.
