Strengthening Partnership with the University of O-de-France Polytechnic

29 января, 2025

On January 29, a meeting was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a delegation from the University of O-de-France Polytechnic. The meeting was conducted by Erkin Duysenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board — First Vice-Rector of KazNU. He shared the university's experience in scientific and educational collaboration with French universities.
The Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of KazNU, Doszhan Nursultan Sagynayuly, also took part in the discussion. He presented the key areas of the faculty’s work and discussed the prospects for expanding joint scientific projects in the field of mechanics and mathematics.
Currently, KazNU actively collaborates with 23 French universities, and within the framework of signed agreements, extensive academic and scientific work is being carried out. In the 2023-24 academic year, 21 faculty members and 36 students from KazNU completed scientific internships at universities in France. In turn, De La Burdonne, Director of INSA Hauts-de-France and Special Adviser to the President of UPHF on International Relations, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and shared information about the key activities of the University of O-de-France Polytechnic.
During the meeting, the parties discussed initiatives aimed at improving educational programs, academic exchange, as well as enhancing scientific cooperation and the training of highly qualified specialists. Special attention was given to issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as SDG 4 (Quality Education) — improving educational programs and implementing innovative teaching methods, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) — creating joint scientific and research projects, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) — developing partnerships and exchanging experiences between universities to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
These initiatives will open new opportunities for improving the quality of education and preparing students to address global challenges.
