
A meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association in the field of personnel training "Business and Management" on the topic "Modern approaches to the development of educational programs in management and public administration" was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The meeting brought together representatives of the academic community, government agencies and key structures in the field of management: the Akimat of Almaty, the Almaty City Development Center, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken, "Astana Motors", the Scientific and Practical Center ID Group, "Komesk-Omir".
Chairman of the Business and Management Section of the UMO RUMS, Acting Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Galiya Dauliyeva, Academic Secretary of the UMO RUMS Akmaral Syrgakbekova, Advisor to the Director General of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), Doctor of Economics, Professor Olga Yanovskaya, Deputy Zhanar Zhazyltayev, Head of the Finance Department of the Akimat of Almaty, and others.
During the meeting, key issues related to updating the content of educational programs in the areas of "Management" and "State and Local Government" were considered, taking into account modern challenges and transformations in society. Special attention was paid to the formation of the competencies of the new generation of managers who are able to act effectively in conditions of deep social and digital transformation.
The participants emphasized that the training of specialists should not be limited only to the current needs of the labor market. Today, it is more important than ever to focus on the future – to develop strategic thinking, flexibility, the ability to analyze and use digital solutions. Educational programs should become a tool for advanced training, ensuring the sustainability, adaptability and innovation of managerial personnel in a rapidly changing reality.
The issues of integrating artificial intelligence and big data technologies into management training, the use of analytical methods in public administration, as well as practice-oriented approaches to training were discussed. In this context, aspects of professional orientation, internship and building effective interaction with employers were also raised. Representatives of "Astana Motors" and the Akimat of Almaty shared their experience and identified the most in-demand competencies in the modern market.
As a result of the event, a resolution was adopted aimed at improving educational programs. It outlined priority areas such as the development of digital competencies, strengthening the practical orientation of educational content, improving the quality of education based on innovative methods and partnerships with external organizations.
