DENG  HONG

 

Dr. DENG Hong is a Professor and Graduate Supervisor at Lanzhou University (PRC). She serves as a member of the University’s Education and Teaching Advisory Committee and was a Senior Researcher in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA.

Her research focuses on student and teacher development, sociology of education, ethnic pedagogy, and international Chinese language education. She has led more than ten research projects, including those funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, the Gansu Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and various commissioned programs.

Dr. Deng has published over 30 journal articles, authored three monographs, and contributed to multiple books and textbooks. She has also produced several research reports. Her work has been recognized with awards such as the "Excellent Resource" Prize in the National Teacher Education Curriculum Resources, the First Prize in Provincial/Ministerial-Level Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences, the Special Prize in Provincial/Ministerial-Level Teaching Achievements, and the First Prize in Teaching Achievements at Lanzhou University.

Additionally, she has repeatedly guided undergraduate students in competitions such as the "Challenge Cup" Extracurricular Academic and Scientific Works Contest and the College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, earning her the title of "Outstanding Advisor."

Jiang Xuehua

Jiang Xuehua is a Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Linguistics, Northwestern Polytechnical University (Xi’an, China).

She graduated from Saint Petersburg State University in 2016–2020 and has been working at Northwestern Polytechnical University since 2021.

Her academic specialization lies in linguistics and political science. Her main research interests include overseas Sinology, the Russian diaspora language in China, and international relations between China, Russia, and Central Asia.

She has participated in research projects on tourism cooperation and regional development in Shaanxi Province and Central Asian countries, as well as in the translation of “Chang’an – the Beginning of the Great Silk Road” from Chinese into Russian.

She is the author of one monograph and over ten scholarly articles published in leading journals in Russia and China.
