Educational program
The purpose of the educational program is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of chemistry with a complex of fundamental knowledge and skills in basic research methods of chemical processes, substances and materials capable of analyzing and solving modern problems of chemical science and industry.
Upon completion of this program, it is expected that undergraduates will be able to:
1 Analyze and evaluate modern scientific achievements in the field of chemistry, generating new ideas in solving research and practical problems.
2 To design and carry out comprehensive research, including interdisciplinary, based on a holistic systematic scientific worldview using knowledge in the field of history and philosophy of science.
3. To equalize and critically evaluate the reliability and reliability of data sources, information and digital content in the field of various areas of modern chemistry.
4. Use digital tools and technologies to organize collaboration and produce new knowledge in a team, ensuring the protection of devices and digital content. 5 Propose alternative solutions to research and practical problems in the field of chemistry, calculating potential gains/losses in the implementation of these options.
6 To formulate and argumentatively defend one's own position on various problems of modern natural science, using the provisions and categories of philosophy to analyze various physico-chemical processes and phenomena.
7 Possess the skills of conducting discussions and polemics, public speaking and written reasoned presentation of their own point of view on topical issues of chemical science.
8 Formulate competent conclusions and qualified recommendations on complex problems in special fields of chemistry; making social and ethical commitments necessary for the most effective solution of tasks and problems.
9 To build a strategy and tactics of self-learning, making key decisions when problematic tasks arise in the course of professional activity in the field of fundamental and applied chemistry.
10 Work with national and international databases, increasing scientific diversity and publication activity. 11 To put into practice relevant ideas and innovations of modern paradigms of higher and postgraduate education (in the field of higher and postgraduate education).
12 Possess a set of personal qualities, fundamental knowledge and systemic skills that ensure creative thinking and high competitiveness in the global labor market.
Educational programs of doctoral studies
Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:
when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:
1) an application addressed to the head of the organization of higher and postgraduate education (in any form);
2) a document on education (original, when submitting documents to the selection committee);
3) identity document (required for personal identification);
4) official certificate of passing the state language exam (KAZTEST) issu

Personnel training in the specialty “8D053- Chemistry” is carried out for the following areas of professional activities: chemical; metallurgical; oil-producing; petrochemical; agrochemical; pharmaceutical; ecology; educational; scientific; healthcare; public administration; industry; construction; agriculture.
Types of professional activity: researcher; research chemist; head of a division in research and production centers, research institutes; state management body of enterprises and non-state sector; leading specialist of chemical, metallurgical, oil-producing, petrochemical, agrochemical, pharmaceutical industries.
Related types of professional activity in the specialty “8D053 - Chemistry” are: medical and biological business; chemical plant protection; food industry.
