8D07104 Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances
Цель: To train research and scientific-pedagogical personnel in the field of chemical technology of inorganic substances for universities, research organizations and related fields, who are capable to: - develop new cost-effective technologies and schemes for the production and processing of inorganic substances and materials with desired properties; - develop and implement educational training courses in chemical technology in higher education organizations; - manage production processes at enterprises related to the production and processing of mineral raw materials. The program is aimed at training scientific and pedagogical personnel with in-depth and fundamental knowledge in the production of products of chemical, metallurgical, agrochemical industries, the industry to manage the production processes of inorganic substances and materials, as well as capable of developing and implementing modern educational methods.

Educational program
To train research and scientific-pedagogical personnel in the field of chemical technology of inorganic substances for universities, research organizations and related fields, who are capable to: - develop new cost-effective technologies and schemes for the production and processing of inorganic substances and materials with desired properties; - develop and implement educational training courses in chemical technology in higher education organizations; - manage production processes at enterprises related to the production and processing of mineral raw materials. The program is aimed at training scientific and pedagogical personnel with in-depth and fundamental knowledge in the production of products of chemical, metallurgical, agrochemical industries, the industry to manage the production processes of inorganic substances and materials, as well as capable of developing and implementing modern educational methods.1. carry out teaching activities in higher education organizations, including training programs development for the new knowledge introduction and research results in educational programs in the chemical engineering field;
2. critically evaluate various scientific and technological theories, concepts and approaches, problems for solving research, practical, analytical and managerial tasks in the current chemical technology areas, as well as the current state and prospects for the development of chemical technology of inorganic substances;
3. generate new hypotheses and ideas in the field of production and processing of inorganic substances and materials, the implementation of which will ensure cost-effective, environmentally and technically safe production;
4. propose ways to optimize the technologies for the production and processing of inorganic materials based on technological calculations and process modeling;
5. interact with the academic and industrial environment for the development of cooperation at the inter-institutional and international levels and the implementation of research and production processes
6. systematize scientific theories and concepts latest trends in chemical technologies of inorganic subsances for studies and presentation of research results in the press, at international conferences, in the bids form, as well as the scientific-technical projects implementation;
7. justify the choice of methodology and instrumentation of scientific research in the specialized field of chemical technology;
8. manage the stages of development and implementation of a research and scientific-technical project in the field of chemical technology, as well as the relevant departments of organizations;
9. use modern and innovative experimental research methods for conducting fundamental and applied research at a high level and allowing to obtain results that meet international requirements;
10. plan and implement a holistic and independent scientific research on development of technologies for producing new inorganic substances and materials, processing of mineral raw materials, as well as projects;
11. develop production quality management systems, complexes of measures for assessing and ensuring the environmental safety of chemical production and the introduction of modern non-waste technologies;
12. develop new methods and technologies for the production of functional materials with desired properties;
13. develop educational programs using pedagogical approaches of quality teaching based on the knowledge of strategic documents in the field of education, cultural values and teaching theory.
Educational programs of doctoral studies
Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:

Graduates of EP "Chemical technology of inorganic substances" can work as chemical engineers, chemical engineers-technologists at enterprises in the development, design and operation of technological lines of enterprises for processing and production of inorganic substances, manage the production processes of inorganic substances and materials.in industrial chemical enterprises in plant, shop and research institutes and laboratories, engineering companies, as well as universities of technical profile. A significant number of chemical engineers work in related industries - ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, mechanical engineering, nuclear power, and petroleum refining. PhDs train highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel for the system of higher, postgraduate education and scientific sphere, managerial personnel for the chemical and oil and gas processing industries, science and education with profound scientific knowledge and professional pedagogical skills.
