Цель: High-quality training of specialists for research, diagnostic institutions and manufacturing enterprises. The implementation of the educational program is aimed at the formation of the personality of a specialist capable to: solve professional problems in the field of microbiology, to identify microorganisms in laboratory and working conditions; characterize microorganisms-pests of various industries and use methods to combat them; use the information and communication technologies necessary for the work; plan the experimental work in compliance with all microbiological safety standards; form a personal educational trajectory.

High-quality training of specialists for research, diagnostic institutions and manufacturing enterprises. The implementation of the educational program is aimed at the formation of the personality of a specialist capable to: solve professional problems in the field of microbiology, to identify microorganisms in laboratory and working conditions; characterize microorganisms-pests of various industries and use methods to combat them; use the information and communication technologies necessary for the work; plan the experimental work in compliance with all microbiological safety standards; form a personal educational trajectory.
1. To conduct a comparative analysis of the principles of systematics and nomenclature of pro- and eukaryotic microbes, their cellular organization, biophysical and biochemical processes occurring in a microbial cell, the structure and properties of viruses, their genetic characteristics.
2. Apply knowledge of the morphological, physiological and biochemical features of the functioning of microbio-objects in laboratory and industrial conditions.
3. To analyze the principles and methods of monitoring environmental objects, the possibility of the existence of prokaryotes in different conditions and their global ecological role.
4. To have the skills to work with live cultures of microbes, microscopic preparations, nutrient media, laboratory microbiological equipment.
5. Comply with the rules for the preparation of microbiological dishes, making liquid and solid nutrient media for the cultivation of microorganisms, sterilization, and storage.
6. To carry out technological control of compliance of the quality of raw materials and products with established safety standards.
7. Possess the skills of determining the quantitative and qualitative composition of microorganisms in environmental objects and food products.
8. Differentiate pathogenic, conditionally pathogenic and sanitary-indicative microorganisms, causative agents of food toxicoinfections according to their biological properties.
9. To possess the methods of bacteriological and sanitary-microbiological research, the theoretical foundations of chemotherapy, immunology and vaccinal prevention of infectious diseases of humans and animals.
10. Compare adequate methods for determining the antimicrobial activity of medical immunobiological and anti-infective drugs.
11. Operate with basic information methods for processing experimental data, use them to effectively perform professional tasks and in human activities in the financial market.
12. To master the philosophical knowledge necessary for the analysis of modern political processes and apply theoretical knowledge in practical activities.

Employment
Employment includes work in the following activities: Diagnostic activities: microbiological diagnostics of infectious diseases, bacteriological, virological, mycological, serological studies of biomaterials. Research activities: analysis of scientific and scientific and technical information, study of the physiological, biochemical and genetic characteristics of microorganisms, mechanisms and methods for obtaining biologically active substances. Production activities: implementation of technological processes for the acceptance of raw materials, laboratory studies of the safety and quality of semi-finished products and finished products, evaluation of products in the production process, development and validation of methods for determining microbiological indicators. Biosafety and biomonitoring of environmental objects, the use of microbial technologies for wastewater and soil treatment.
