Цель: The aim of the educational program is to prepare highly qualified and competitive specialists in the field of Oriental Studies, who are able to understand the social, cultural, political and economic challenges relevant to the countries of the East and Kazakhstan, as well as to study ways to solve the main problems faced by these countries, carrying out independent scientific research based on an in-depth study of theoretical material, choice of methodology with a projection on the development of current trends in oriental science.

Educational program

The aim of the educational program is to prepare highly qualified and competitive specialists in the field of Oriental Studies, who are able to understand the social, cultural, political and economic challenges relevant to the countries of the East and Kazakhstan, as well as to study ways to solve the main problems faced by these countries, carrying out independent scientific research based on an in-depth study of theoretical material, choice of methodology with a projection on the development of current trends in oriental science.

Upon completion of this program, it is expected that students will be able to:
1. Integrate and analyze independently acquired new knowledge for the preparation of analytical materials and recommendations, using the relevant literature in the field of Oriental Studies, and information materials on the studied regions;
2. Analyze the trends of modern science, critically evaluate various theories, concepts and approaches, identify promising areas of research in the framework of specific works - dissertations, reports, articles;
3. Apply acquired scientific and theoretical knowledge in solving socio-humanitarian problems, create new curricula and develop innovative methods for organizing the educational process in a higher educational institution;
4. Generate the process of communication, apply the technique of bilateral interpretation and translation from Eastern languages and into Eastern languages in different genres, demonstrating various translation strategies;
5. Effectively carry out scientific projects, apply modern information technologies, including methods for obtaining, processing and storing scientific information, methods of statistical analysis, reporting skills, interpretation of data in native and foreign languages;
6. Systematize and interpret scientific theories, methods of analysis of current historical, political, socio-economic and cultural processes of the development of the modern East for the preparation of informational and analytical materials on current and forecasted events in eastern countries;
7. Develop skills in modern oriental languages, as well as Kazakh, Russian and Western languages at a level sufficient for international cooperation and joint research;
8. In various kinds of publications, show an independent thinking and interpretation of cultural, historical, linguistic discourses, as well as an understanding of others, including Eastern cultures and identities in the past and / or in the present.
9. Develop skills in modern oriental languages, as well as Kazakh, Russian and Western languages at a level sufficient for international cooperation and joint research;
10. Use fundamental training in research, academic, organizational and other professional areas of Oriental Studies to create specific measurable results in the form of scientific, academic and creative products;
11. Formulate and solve modern scientific and practical problems, develop applied projects and programs in native and foreign languages that meet international and domestic standards and requirements.

Educational programs of doctoral studies

Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:
when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:
1) an application addressed to the head of the organization of higher and postgraduate education (in any form);
2) a document on education (original, when submitting documents to the selection committee);
3) identity document (required for personal identification);
4) official certificate of passing the state language exam (KAZTEST) issu
