The main purpose of the educational program is to prepare graduates for professional activities in all sectors of the economy, professionally owning the principles and concepts of logistics activities, able to solve the problem of improving the competitiveness of enterprises through the use of modern logistics methods.
1.to organize the activities of subordinate services and departments in accordance with the strategic objectives of the enterprise in the field of logistics based on the principles of the organization of the production system
2.evaluate the surrounding reality on the basis of worldview positions formed by knowledge of the fundamentals of philosophy for scientific understanding and study of the natural and social world
3.apply regulations in the logistics of goods distribution on the basis of the rules and procedure for preparing transport, accompanying, transport and forwarding documents to manage cargo flows in terminals, multimodal transport, customs, industrial and warehouse complex and city logistics.
4.interpret the fundamentals of economic theory, government regulation, finance, accounting, statistics, management and marketing to approve logistics content in accordance with its approaches, principles and concepts
5.to develop effective schemes of relationships in the process of providing logistics services for cargo transportation in the supply chain, using the quality management system of transport services
6.design logistics processes based on lean manufacturing tools for making strategic, tactical and operational decisions in the logistics system
7.to engage in communication in oral and written forms in Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages to solve problems of interpersonal, intercultural and professional communication, demonstrating personal and professional competitiveness
8.conduct monitoring using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to optimize logistics costs and processes when making strategic decisions in logistics
9.develop possible routes, schemes of cargo transportation from the point of departure to the destination using different modes of transport based on operational and calendar planning of transport operations
10.implement models and methods for determining the rational level of working capital and stocks with a fixed frequency, with a fixed size to optimize logistics processes in the functional areas of logistics
11.to organize timely material and technical support of production with the help of an active supply system (ASS-Active Supply System), the MRP concept using "Pull" (Pull) and "Push" (Push) technologies of production logistics
12. apply ICT and modern application packages for mathematical simulation, project management, database management, commodity logistics and supply chains

The main purpose of the educational program is to prepare graduates for professional activity in all sectors of the national economy, professionally proficient in the principles and concepts of logistics activities, able to solve the problems of increasing the competitiveness of enterprises based on the use of modern logistics methods. Graduates of the specialty "Logistics" receive the qualification of a logistician and the academic degree "bachelor" and can hold the position of a logistician in firms, corporations and national companies. Today, logistics covers almost all types of human activity. A logistician is a specialist who solves issues related to optimizing the processes of supply, distribution, warehousing, transportation of products and minimizing costs at all these stages. These specialists are in demand in transport, distribution and manufacturing companies in various fields of activity.
