The purpose of the educational program is to prepare highly qualified specialists of modern formation, who have the ability to use theoretical knowledge and research methods in practice in the field of designing innovative technologies in the power industry, possessing the knowledge and competencies in demand at work in enterprises and organizations of the energy industry related to production, transmission and consumption of electrical energy, as well as in design and research organizations and universities of technical wow profile
ON1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of conceptual provisions, theoretical and practical methods for the implementation of specific scientific and technical tasks related to the current state of the energy system
ON2. Forming ideas about the main stages of development and changing paradigms in the evolution of science in the process of scientific and technological revolution
ON3. Contextualize scientific concepts of world and Kazakhstan science in the field of innovative technology;
ON4. Practice professional skills in scientific and technical activities, use modern information technologies for searching, storing, processing and transferring the necessary new scientific and innovative activities;
ON5. Analyze the priorities of educational and research activities to develop solutions and participate in their implementation, the manifestation of personal interests in conjunction with the needs of society;
ON6. Summarize the experimental, model and theoretical results obtained in the process of studying the properties of the electric power system
ON7. Experiment on the basis of mathematical models of electrical circuits, methods of analysis of nonlinear electrical and magnetic circuits;
ON8. To make an examination of the significance of the results obtained and ways to use them in further research, to draw conclusions based on the results of the research, to make independent decisions when solving problems on this topic based on the knowledge gained;
ON9. Make decisions on the organization of experimental and theoretical research, applying teamwork skills
ON10. Differentiate conceptually organized knowledge of the power industry and be aware of its role in the context of professional education, drawing up projects for submitting them to announced competitions of scientific and innovative research works

Educational programs of doctoral studies
Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:

Energy is associated with the conversion of energy sources (gas, coal, hydropower, nuclear energy, solar or wind energy) into electricity, energy engineers audit the use of energy resources and suggest ways to improve it. And the responsibilities also include the operation and monitoring of equipment, providing consultations, preparing technical reports, coordinating with suppliers and designers, reviewing and approving design work. Important qualities of an energy engineer with a doctorate are strong communication skills, problem solving skills, self-motivation, computer skills and the ability to work on multiple projects. Persons with a doctorate in the field of energy and power engineering are employed by private and public companies, universities, research institutes.
