High-quality training of scientific and educational orientation in the field of Geoinformatics for specialized research institutes, Universities, research and production organizations and associations, national and regional centers for GIS technology, public administration and relevant ministries.
1ON – To argue the knowledge of history, evolution, modern theoretical concepts, fundamentals and methodology of geodesy, cartography, aerospace sensing and geoinformatics in research activities to determine the creation of software and programming.
2ON – Identify problems, tasks of scientific research, compile analytical reviews of information and data, methods and technologies accumulated in world science and practice to obtain new reliable results based on geoinformation mapping.

5ON – Know the legal and regulatory and technical basis for the organization and conduct of topographic, geodetic, cartographic and geoinformation works for obtaining and using remote sensing data.
6ON – To set tasks of high-tech work using modern tools, equipment, software and technologies in solving scientific projects.
7ON – To organize high-tech geoinformation works on the creation of new, original and standard cartographic images, and works (general geographic, thematic, special purpose and others) of various territorial coverage, purpose and content in digital form using geoinformation technologies, modern software and hardware, diverse spatial information.
8ON – To control high-tech geoinformation work on the creation of new, unique databases and data banks, geoinformation systems (including navigation and cadastral), multidimensional models of various territorial coverage, purpose and content using modern software and hardware to obtain remote sensing data.
9ON – Manage high-tech work on the acquisition, digital processing, and use of remote sensing data (different in spatial coverage and spectral resolution). 10ON – To set the tasks of multidimensional spatial modeling of natural, socio-economic, ecological, man-made and other processes, objects and systems;
11ON – Develop techniques and implement on the basis of digital technologies the integration of various information resources (ground, remote surveys and observations, satellite positioning, statistical accounting, expedition surveys, stock, archival and other materials) for the creation and maintenance of departmental, industry GIS projects, for geodetic, cartographic and geoinformation support and support of management decisions with using GIS technologies.
