The purpose of the educational program training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel in the field of geographical education, possessing new scientific and practical knowledge in the field of geography, ready to apply modern pedagogical teaching methods and information technologies in implementing the tasks of innovative educational policy

LO1. Summarize the results of your own research based on the technology of scientific communication, academic foreign language, modern methods in research activities to solve scientific and scientific-educational problems;
LO2. Evaluate the results of pedagogical research, identifying the opportunities and risks of their implementation in the educational and sociocultural environment, prospects for further research;
LO3. Able to critically analyze scientific literature and contemporary research in the field of geographical science and education;
LO4 Reasonably select and effectively use educational technologies, methods and means of training and education in order to ensure the planned level of personal and professional growth of the student;
LO5. Possess skills in effective written and oral presentation of research results, including publication of scientific articles and posters at conferences;
LO6. Interpret interdisciplinary knowledge in applied geographical research based on GIS technologies using innovative approaches, principles and methods;
LO7. Coordinate the processes of scientific research and projects in centers related to Earth science, as well as in the process of teaching geographical courses in secondary and higher schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan using statistical, mathematical, cartographic research methods;
LO8. Interpret the results of pedagogical research, assess the limits of their applicability, possible risks of their implementation in the educational and sociocultural environment, prospects for further research;
LO9. Demonstrate the leadership skills necessary to manage, organize, coordinate and control teams in educational projects to achieve the goals and implement the pedagogical objectives of geographical education;
LO10. Model additional professional education programs in accordance with the needs of the employer in the educational process;
LO11. Reasonably select and effectively use educational technologies, methods and means of training and education in order to ensure the planned level of personal and professional development of the student;
LO12 Make recommendations in applied research by analyzing and summarizing the results of scientific research, combining innovative methods and methodological approaches in the process of conducting modern geographical research

Educational programs of doctoral studies

Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:
when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:
1) an application addressed to the head of the organization of higher and postgraduate education (in any form);
2) a document on education (original, when submitting documents to the selection committee);
3) identity document (required for personal identification);
