Educational program
Training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel capable of conducting fundamental scientific research in the field of modern international law, proficient in the methodology of scientific knowledge, able to apply scientific methods in the study of problems of international law in the activities of government agencies, international organizations, research institutes, higher educational institutions and various enterprises. Graduates of this program are able to carry out expert advisory, analytical, managerial activities on issues of compliance with international law; systematically use knowledge of related scientific fields, interpret the basic theories and concepts of the science of international law, can create new conceptual knowledge that develops international legal science; determine the significance of their scientific activities, present research results in a reasoned manner, conduct discussions on issues of international law, including in a foreign language.
1.To use scientific theories and concepts of the latest trends in modern international law in order to apply this knowledge in the activities of state bodies and international organizations to determine the position of the Republic of Kazakhstan on foreign policy, international security and human rights protection.
2.Apply the basic principles of modern international law from the point of view of their strict observance in the activities of state, law enforcement, judicial, arbitration and other bodies to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities.
3.To carry out a critical analysis and assessment of new approaches and trends in international legal regulation of the participation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in various international organizations, foreign economic projects, integration associations.
4.To make qualified expert legal opinions on draft laws, international agreements of the Republic of Kazakhstan on compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international obligations and national interests of our state.
5.To assemble a team of like-minded people and organize an effective workflow both for scientific research and for the implementation of professional legal functions; to form comfortable relationships with partners, management, subordinates and other people.
6.Predict and think at the tactical and strategic level, act in non-standard situations, calculating risks and using emerging opportunities for your organization, enterprise to ensure an effective end result to ensure the rights of all participants in the relationship.
7.To conduct high-quality classes in higher education institutions using traditional, innovative, interactive, personality-oriented technologies and methods of teaching international legal disciplines aimed at training highly qualified bachelors in the field of law, international relations and world economy.
8.To build the trajectory of the research process on the topic of the dissertation, defining its goals and objectives, to formulate provisions submitted for defense that can contribute to the development of international legal science.
9.To present the results of research work in the form of reports, reports, abstracts at scientific conferences, doctoral dissertations, scientific projects, publication of scientific articles in publications with high scientific ratings both at the national and foreign levels.
10.To assess the validity of various methods of scientific research in the field of international law.
11.Develop and implement scientific projects to create new knowledge of significant practical importance for international law and the legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
12.To show initiative, responsibility and systemic skills necessary for successful employment in law enforcement, law-making, management, and research fields, correlating their scientific interests with the needs of the state and the scientific community.
Educational programs of doctoral studies
Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:
when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:
1) an application addressed to the head of the organization of higher and postgraduate education (in any form);
2) a document on education (original, when submitting documents to the selection committee);
3) identity document (required for personal identification);
4) official certificate of passing the state language exam (KAZTEST) issu
